Parents and School Communities, through School Associations, work together to achieve the best outcomes for children in Tasmanian State Schools.
- Finish the inquiry into discrimination and bullying in Tasmanian schools
- Proiritise family engagement with student learning
- Address allied health and assessment shortfalls in state schools
- Create an independent, external maintenance and capital expenditure oversight board
- Urgently review year 11 and 12 education
- Provide reliable, free bus travel to all state school students

TASSO aims to make the work of School Association Committees as clear as possible for all volunteers. We are frequently adding to our list of internal and external resources. These are provided to help guide and empower your School Association.

MEMBERSHIP
Become a member of TASSO or update your membership.
School Associations
School Associations are automatically a member of TASSO and this membership acts on an opt-out, rather than opt-in basis. If your School Association would like to opt-out of your membership with TASSO, you may do so by contacting TASSO.
Individuals
Membership isn’t limited to State School Organisations or other organisations. Individuals can become members of TASSO. If you would like to register to become a part of TASSO, complete our Individual Membership Form.
Organisations
Are you an organisation that wants to contribute and be a part of helping State School Organisations operate effectively? To register your organisation as a TASSO member, complete the Membership Form for Organisations.
