  • Canon Oceania Grants Program

    1) Community Grant – Open to any project or organisation that has a positive impact on communities, cultural and societal causes. The winner will receive $2,500 cash, and Canon Product valued up to $2,500. 2) Education Grant – Open to any project run by a primary, secondary, or tertiary school/educational institution. The winner will receive $2,500 cash, and Canon Product valued up to $2,500. 3) Environment Grant – Open to any project that supports and protects the environmental sustainability of the community. The winner will receive $2,500 cash, and Canon Product valued up to $2,500. 4) First Nations Grant – Open to any group or organisation that will have a positive impact for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples and/or community. The winner will receive $2,500 cash, and Canon Product valued up to $2,500.

  • Minor Facilities Upgrade Program

    Enables community sport and recreation clubs to upgrade existing facilities to enable greater use of the facility. The Minor Facilities Upgrade Program (the Program) is funded through the Community Support Fund (CSF). Legislation requires that funding under this program is provided for the benefit of community sport and recreation clubs. The Program aims to assist eligible organisations to upgrade existing facilities to enable greater use of the facility. The Program will provide funding for the following types of one-off investments to benefit community level sport: – Minor infrastructure – Minor playing surface upgrades – Minor safety and accessibility improvements to existing facilities.
    Grant amount: 10,000 to 60,000

  • Hydro Tasmania – Community Grant Program

    Offers grants for not-for-profit community organisations based in Tasmania to help fund projects that make a real difference for people and communities. Hydro Tasmania wants to support community groups to achieve great outcomes. School Associations are exempt from paying income tax under the Income Tas Assessment Act 1997 (Cth)
    Grant amount: Up to $5,000

  • Active Clubs Program

    Assists eligible organisations to purchase additional or replace existing equipment to deliver community sport and/or active recreation activities that enhance participation. Eligible equipment includes: – Playing and or/training equipment – Coaching and/or officiating equipment – Safety, health and/or protective equipment – Uniforms and/or protective gear directly associated with participation – Information technology equipment directly associated with participation – Watercraft and related equipment – Playing venue maintenance equipment.
    Grant amount: $1000 – $10,000

  • City of Hobart – Community Grant

    The Community Grant supports the delivery of community-based activities that involve, engage and benefit the Hobart community. Applicants must be either: – A not-for-profit organisation – A registered charity – An incorporated association – An unincorporated group – A social enterprise – A registered school or training organisation.

  • Her Path to Play Program

    Supports organisations to develop and deliver programs that cater for the needs and interests of all women and girls to increase opportunities to participate, including specific cohorts who may experience additional barriers to participation. Her Path to Play (the Program) is funded through the Community Support Fund (CSF). Legislation requires that funding under this program is provided for the benefit of community sport and recreation clubs.
    Grant amount: $1,000 – $20,000
