  • Communities for Children Small Grant Program

    Provides funds to different organisations to run community activities and programs for children in South-East Tasmania. Grants are available for amounts between $1,000 and $3,000 and are open to Community Organisations to initiate or develop activities that improve parenting, safety and resilience, build community capacity and the health and wellbeing of families with children aged 0-12 years.

  • Commonwealth Teaching Scholarships

    Provides funding to new undergraduate and postgraduate teaching students in exchange for teaching in government schools or government-run early learning settings following their degree. The Commonwealth Teaching Scholarships Program (the Program) provides up to $40,000 to new undergraduate and up to $20,000 to new postgraduate teacher education students. In return for a scholarship recipients need to teach in government schools or government-run early learning settings after finishing their degree

  • Youth Week Tasmania

    Youth Week Tasmania, supported by the Tasmanian Government, celebrates the contributions, creativity and leadership of young people across the state. In 2026, $30,000 is available through the Youth Week Tasmania Small Grants Program, offering grants of up to $2,000 for eligible organisations to deliver Youth Week events, activities or projects. Youth Week Tasmania 2026 will run from Thursday 16 April to Thursday 23 April 2026. This years’ theme, chosen by young people, is ‘Our Voice. Our Vision. Our Future’.
