Supports local sporting clubs, community groups or not-for-profit organisations. Any registered Australian community group, sporting club or not-for-profit organisation can apply. A grant of $1,000 will be awarded each month, beginning in June 2026. A major grant of $10,000 will also be awarded at the end of the program. The Mental Health Council of Tasmania are once again facilitating a Small Grants program to support Mental Health Week events and activities. The Small Grants program is open to community groups, not-for-profit organisations, schools, local services, and grassroots initiatives.

The 2026 Australia Post Community Grants program is accepting applications for funding from incorporated not-for-profit organisations to support community-led, local projects that connect individuals and communities to improve mental health and mental wellbeing.

Supports local organisations, community groups and events that benefit communities surrounding our port operations. To be eligible for funding, applicants must be one of the following: – Not-for-profit organisation – Registered charity, school or training organisation – Registered company – Unregistered group or organisation (an unregistered group or organisation is two or more people who have come together for a collective purpose. Representatives must be over 18 years old and provide CVs outlining their experience and a summary of the group’s purpose).

Supports projects that focus on removing the barriers to learning and education and on building capable and well led communities.

1) Community Grant – Open to any project or organisation that has a positive impact on communities, cultural and societal causes. The winner will receive $2,500 cash, and Canon Product valued up to $2,500. 2) Education Grant – Open to any project run by a primary, secondary, or tertiary school/educational institution. The winner will receive $2,500 cash, and Canon Product valued up to $2,500. 3) Environment Grant – Open to any project that supports and protects the environmental sustainability of the community. The winner will receive $2,500 cash, and Canon Product valued up to $2,500. 4) First Nations Grant – Open to any group or organisation that will have a positive impact for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples and/or community. The winner will receive $2,500 cash, and Canon Product valued up to $2,500.
